Thank you for downloading my PSP Flash Gaming anthology! Using it is quite simple; just follow the instructions for installation under TROUBLESHOOTING and you should be fine! Please enjoy the games and spread the word on PSP Flash gaming! Here are some reasons why you should send this to your friends: + Handing out games that are already free to play helps give the designers like myself exposure. + Distributing this content helps promote Adobe Flash, and consequently free applications. + Promoting Flash increases the demand for Flash player, encouraging Sony to enable flash for the PSVita, and for future portable consoles they develop. + Spreading PSP Flash games increases the demand for the games themselves, increasing the likelihood of other developers beginning to design PSP-compatible applications. + This is a free, lightweight, and easy way for PSP users to have more content on their PSP consoles. TROUBLESHOOTING: Q: How do I install these games? A: Now that you've downloaded the games, all you have to do is connect your PSP to your computer with a USB connector, enter USB mode from the System options, then copy the PFG folder you downloaded and paste it directly into your PSP's memory card. The card will show up as an external hard drive under My Computer when you enter USB Mode on your PSP. Q: I've installed the games, now how do I play them? A: All you have to do is go to your internet browser. If your browser automatically begins searching for an access point, cancel the search and instead type in this URL: file:/PFG/menu.html This should bring up an HTML page showing all of the games sorted by genre. If it does, the you're done already! Just remember to bookmark the link so you can go back to it any time you want! Q: I keep accidentally going back to the game menu during my games, help! A: This is an easy fix. Instead of clicking the links to the games with X, hit the triangle button to bring up your menu, then scroll all the way to see options pertaining to the link you've rolled over. Select "Open link in new tab" and play the game there. The shoulder buttons will not take you back to the menu anymore. Q: Why do the games run so slow? A: The PSP 1000 only has 32 MB of RAM, and the PSP 2000 and 3000 still only have 64 MB of RAM. Games that were meant to be played on a PC will probably run slower on the PSP. However, most games made specifically for the PSP (games with no blank background on the sides) should run fine. Q: My PSP says "The content cannot be displayed." Help! A: The PFG folder is in the wrong location. Make sure to put it on the outermost folder of your memory card. Do not put it inside PSP or GAMES; put it on the folder they're in, right next to them. Also make sure that the folder you paste contains the games themselves, and that you aren't putting a ZIP folder containing the PFG folder on the memory card. Q: How do I play Flash in my browser? A: You need to enable Flash player on your PSP. For this you will need a one-time internet connection so you can agree to the terms and conditions. Q: Is my hardware compatible with these games? A: At the time of this compilation's publication, only the PSP 1000, 2000, 3000, and PSPGo can play Flash games; the PSVita does not have Flash player available. You also need a USB connector that is the correct size for your PSP. VERSION HISTORY: April 12, 2012 - 86 games in collection. May 24, 2012 - 104 games in collection.
